Susan Bass Roberts Named Associate
Publisher of Who’s Who In Black Minneapolis/St. Paul™

Ohio – Who’s Who Publishing Company proudly
welcomes Susan Bass Roberts to the Who’s Who family as the
associate publisher of Who’s Who In Black Minneapolis/St.
Paul™. Bass Roberts is president of The Susan
Bass Group (SBG), a boutique public relations agency headquartered
in Minneapolis. SBG provides strategic consultation in media relations,
community relations, nonprofit foundation management, program development
and special events.
With more than 20 years of experience in public relations, community
affairs and philanthropy, Bass Roberts brings a wealth of industry
knowledge to Who’s Who. Prior to founding SBG, she served
as vice president of communications and community relations for
the Atlanta Falcons football club, where she worked closely with
the Atlanta Falcons Youth Foundation.
Though her most recent emphasis has been on sports, Bass Roberts
also has notable experience in the retail and entertainment industries.
Her previous experience includes serving as director of community
affairs and philanthropy for Limited Brands, the parent company
of Victoria’s Secret, Bath & Body Works and a number of
other retail brands, and as public affairs director for Time Warner
Cable, handling the Columbus, Ohio, division’s community presence,
government relations and media relations.
A native of Columbus, Ohio, and graduate of The Ohio State University,
Bass Roberts has been actively involved in the community throughout
her career. She has served on the boards of several nonprofit organizations
in Atlanta and Columbus, including The Boys & Girls Club/NFL
Youth Education Town and Big Brothers Big Sisters, and is a member
of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She is married to Chris Roberts,
vice president of Sweeteners Americas at Minneapolis-based Cargill,
Inc.
