Todd Corley to Pen Foreword for Seventh Edition of
Who’s Who In Black Columbus®
Columbus, Ohio – Who’s Who Publishing Company, the nation’s largest annual directory publisher serving the African-American market, ecstatically announces that Todd Corley, senior vice president of diversity and inclusion for Abercrombie & Fitch, will pen the foreword for the seventh edition of Who’s Who In Black Columbus®.
As Abercrombie & Fitch’s first-ever corporate officer responsible for diversity and inclusion, Corley has taken several strides to lead the company to a high standard of diversity. Since taking this position in November of 2004, he has overseen the forging of many important relationships with such organizations as INROADS, UNCF, the National Hispanic Business Association and the National Black MBA Association. Additionally, under his leadership, the company has seen a steady increase in the percentage of minorities hired relative to the total percentage of all people hired.
Corley earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Georgetown University, where he is also a founding member of the country’s first diversity master’s program. He serves on several boards, including the Jazz Arts Group and the business advisory board of the Columbus College of Art & Design. Married to Dr. G. Penelope Fleming, he is the father of two children.

Who’s Who In Black Columbus® to Feature
Special Tribute to Archie Griffin
Columbus, Ohio – The nation’s largest annual directory publisher targeting the African-American market, Who’s Who Publishing Company, announces that it will pay special tribute to former Buckeye football star Archie Griffin in the seventh edition of Who’s Who In Black Columbus®. In addition, Griffin will be prominently featured on the cover.
The first and only two-time Heisman Trophy winner serves as president and chief executive officer of The Ohio State University Alumni Association, Inc. With an active membership of 125,000 and an alumni body approaching 450,000 people, Griffin provides leadership to Ohio State Buckeyes throughout the country and around the world.
A three-time All-American from 1973 to 1975, he rushed for an OSU record of 5,589 yards, which helped the Buckeyes capture four Big Ten titles and post an overall record of 40-5-1. In the history of college football, Griffin is the only Big Ten player to start in four Rose Bowls.
Griffin received a degree from OSU in 1976, in which he graduated a quarter early and was chosen as one of the NCAA’s top five student athletes as a senior. Once he graduated, he was the first-round pick for the Cincinnati Bengals.

ABC6/FOX28 to Showcase Who’s
Who In Black Columbus® Profiles August
11-15
Columbus,
Ohio - On the heels of another stellar edition Who’s
Who In Black Columbus®, C. Sunny Martin, founder
and CEO of Who Publishing Company, the nation’s largest annual
directory publisher targeting the African-American market, announces
that ABC6 and FOX28 will broadcast profiles of several of its Interesting
Personalities and Living Legends from August 11 – 15. Celebrating
their noteworthy achievements and contributions to the Central Ohio
community, some of those to be feature include Kimberly Blackwell
of the PMM Agency; John Gregory, CEO of TEACH Enterprise; Commander
Jeffrey Blackwell of the Columbus Police Department; Clarence Lumpkin,
the “Mayor of South Linden;” and Charity Martin-Via,
owner of Urban- Spirit Coffee Shop. The profiles will run during
Good Day Columbus on FOX28 and again on ABC News
at 6 p.m.
Martin wants to get the word out. With a desire to chronicle the
history and accomplishments of African Americans across the United
States, he believes that the story of African-American leadership
in the business, educational, spiritual, political and corporate
communities remains untold. More importantly, he wants to see these
books in the hands of school-aged children so they realize the limitless
possibilities that exist in diverse areas of careers and entrepreneurship
within their individual communities.
Regarded as the largest Columbus edition to date, the publication
highlights more than 500 biographical sketches. Donna James, managing

the introduction was provided by Alex Shumate, managing partner

Donna James Signs on to Pen Foreword
for Sixth Edition of
Who's Who In Black Columbus®

market, announced today that Donna James will pen the foreword for
the sixth edition of Who’s Who In Black Columbus®.
Donna is managing director of Lardon & Associates LLC, where
she provides advice and counsel to businesses through their board
of directors, as well as senior leadership on governance, new business
development, strategy, and organizational and leadership development.
She also serves as a corporate director for three Fortune 500 public
companies, is a former president of Nationwide Strategic Investments,
and a former executive vice president for Nationwide Insurance and
Financial Services.

for Leadership and Governance. Her past community roles include
the United Way of America board of governors, the YWCA of Columbus

Additionally, Donna has received several recognitions, including
being named in 2005 by Black Enterprise as one of the 75 Most Powerful
African Americans in Corporate America, and receiving the national
Beta Gamma Sigma Business Achievement Award, an honorary doctorate
degree from Tiffin University and the YWCA of Columbus Women of
Achievement Award.

Fourth Edition
of Who’s Who In Black Columbus®
released
Columbus,
Ohio – Who’s Who Publishing Company, the nation’s
largest annual directory publisher targeting the African-American
market, released Who’s Who In Black Columbus®
to a standing room only crowd January 24, 2006. The highly anticipated
fourth edition was unveiled at a reception at the Hyatt Regency
Ohio Center. More than 530 local dignitaries and special guests
attended the gala, which featured WBNS 10TV anchor Angela Pace as
the mistress of ceremonies, and the East High School Marching Band.
With a foreword written by local attorney
and former state representative Otto Beatty, Jr., the coffee table
quality publication is 318 pages in length. It offers readers pictures
and biographical data on more than 400 local leaders in central
Ohio including some of Columbus’ Interesting Personalities,
Most Influential, Corporate Brass, Spiritual and Community Leaders,
and many more. Additionally, the 2006 edition features a tribute
to the late Bill Moss, a member of the Columbus Public Schools Board
of Education, and a vocal and untiring champion for the rights of
children within the school district.

Who’s Who In Black
Columbus®
is an annual coffee table publication that features pictures and
biographical data on the achievements of African American men and
women who have made their mark in their careers and professions
as well as in the community. This publication, which is an essential
networking resource for the community and serves as both a historical
document and a classroom resource, features pictures and biographical
data on over 320 influential leaders and achievers in the Columbus
community.
New to this edition is a section highlighting
some of Columbus’ most interesting personalities. Other featured
