McDuffie Named Associate Publisher for
Who’s Who In Black Charlotte™

Ohio - Who’s Who Publishing Company proudly announces
that James McDuffie will join the Who’s Who family as associate
publisher of Who’s Who In Black Charlotte™.
An assistant vice president with a major financial institution,
McDuffie will work with Who’s Who Publishing corporate headquarters
to publish this informative directory, which is planned to debut
in Charlotte in 2008.
McDuffie brings to Who’s Who a diverse,
well-rounded background with previous experiences that range from
a software engineer to vice president of product management for
a Fortune 500 company and CFO and co-founder of enCompass Securities,
LLC. Additionally, he has international experience as a consultant,
which provided him with a global understanding of people, business,
and community. McDuffie is also the co-founder of Alex and Associates,
a local marketing company that has partnered with Who’s Who
Publishing to bring this historical publication to Charlotte, North
Carolina.
A native of Durham, North Carolina, McDuffie is a graduate of North
Carolina A&T State University with a Bachelor of Science degree
in electrical engineering. He is a member of the NC Triangle INROADS
Alumni Association, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., the National
Society of Black Engineers, Mortgage Bankers Association and other
business and civic organizations. He devotes a portion of his time
to educating the community on financial management and home ownership.
Shares McDuffie, “I have a great passion and enthusiasm for
the people of Charlotte, the successes they have had, and their
significant achievements. Those in Charlotte’s African-American
community will join the ranks of other African Americans who have
been celebrated in other major cities across America. I hope to
provide a tool that will promote a sense of pride for the people
of Charlotte, while inspiring all ages to strive for excellence
in the footsteps of community role models.”

will be released at the official book unveiling reception the company
will host in 2008 in Charlotte. Who’s Who Publishing Company
began in Atlanta, Georgia in 1989. The company has published more
than 35 books and currently publishes this brand of upscale directories
in numerous cities throughout the U.S.
