Community Leaders, and much, much more.
Now in its fourth edition and first
published in 1991, publisher and founder C. Sunny Martin states,
“Who’s Who In Black Atlanta
takes the optimistic “half full” perspective to aid
and assist those in taking stock of the diverse talents, accomplishments
and contributions African Americans have made to the growth and
development of Atlanta.”
The associate publisher of
the book is the Atlanta Business League. Leona Barr-Davenport president
of the Atlanta Business League adds, “Who’s
Who In Black Atlanta is a gift to the City of Atlanta
and to people around the country. Atlanta is often refereed to as
the Black Mecca. While the increase of opportunities for blacks
has not been an easy navigation, Atlanta undeniably ranks at the
top of the list of the best cities in the country for blacks to
live and excel.”
