Carter D. Womack is past international president of the Washington, D.C.-headquartered Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. He is also president and chief executive officer of Leadership At Its Best, LLC, a company that provides leadership and development training, and diversity strategy planning to corporations, businesses and nonprofit organizations. The company also offers leadership and development training for college/university and public school district students.

A member of many national, state and local organizations, Womack was the 27th and 29th national president of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. He was the 28th national president of the National Pan-Hellenic Council, Inc. and was a three-term city councilman for the City of Akron, Ohio. Previously, he was a member of the U.S. Jaycees and chairman of the Alabama A&M University Foundation.

Listed in Outstanding Young Men of America, Who’s Who in the Midwest and Who’s Who in Black Corporate America, Womack has been included in Ebony’s 100 Most Influential Blacks in America five times. Additionally, he was inducted into Alabama A&M University’s Hall of Fame for outstanding community service, and received Dollars & Sense magazine’s Brightest and Best Young Men Award.
