Beginning with
Who’s Who In Black Atlanta in 1991, Who's Who Publishing expanded its family of publications with
Who’s Who In Black Central Ohio after moving its headquarters from Atlanta, Georgia to Columbus, Ohio in 1999. The inaugural edition of
Black Judges In America followed in 2002. As excitement and admiration for Who’s Who books caught on, requests from other cities and organizations poured in. After building and extending key publishing, corporate, and community relationships, in 2003 and 2004 Who’s Who Publishing pioneered its way into Indianapolis, Indiana, Cincinnati and Cleveland, Ohio, and St. Louis, Missouri. Influential African Americans such as Coretta Scott King, Willie Gary, Gladys Knight, Kriss Kross, Maynard H. Jackson, Jr., Rev. Dr. Joseph Lowery, Don King, Andrew Young, David Steward, and Rev. Fred Shuttlesworth are profiled and honored in the Who’s Who publications.
- Continuing to make a mark in publishing history, Who's Who Publishing unveiled Black Mayors In America in April of 2005. It is the first comprehensive overview of current and past African-American mayors. In 2005 and 2006, Who's Who Publishing expanded into markets such as Chicago, Detroit, Louisville, Houston, and South Florida.
